Eat'n Park: Hello Bistro
Eat’n Park began nearly a half century ago as the first Pittsburgh-area drive-in restaurant with carhops. The carhops are gone now, and the look has changed, but one thing remains the same—a commitment to great food at an exceptional value while providing outstanding service.
Through Discovery Sessions with customers and experts, and iterations of mood boards, fathom and Eat’n Park selected Hello Bistro, a name that evokes a warm and welcoming atmosphere with fresh and forward-thinking food. Diners will have the opportunity to try anything from coffee or oatmeal, to a create-your-own burger or salad, to a beer or glass of wine. At the same time, ties to the Eat’n Park brand will be subtle and nostalgic.
An interesting facet of this fast-casual concept is that these smaller locations will fit back into the urban fabric of Pittsburgh neighborhoods in which Eat’n Park first began. The first Hello Bistro is scheduled to open in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood in late June or early July with a second location to follow in the South Side or East Liberty.
